IHT installed its first zero gravity hoist in January 2015. This is a smart lift that senses the weight of the part being lifted and in essence renders the load weightless. The load can be lifted and lowered as quickly as desired by the operator. It can be programmed to automatically slow the rate of lift or decent to minimize impact that could occur when loading and unloading in tight spaces. We expect that this new lift can reduce load / unload times by as much as 50%.
