Induction Tempering

Induction tempering is usually performed on parts that have been furnace hardened and have select areas in which hardness must be reduced. These areas can be accurately induction tempered into a specified hardness range. Induction tempering can also be performed in the induction hardening line to eliminate the need for reheating in a tempering oven.
